Main properties

  • cardiac regulator :

hawthorn is the plant of the heart par excellence. It is a regulator of nervous and cardiac contractile activity. It strengthens the systole and contractile action of the heart and tones the myocardium. Hawthorn bud macerate is, in short, indicated for all disorders linked to heart rhythm. It also acts as an anti-thrombophilic and antispasmodic. It is also a great remedy for functional arrhythmias. It has the ability to normalize blood pressure intelligently, and thus acts in cases of both hypotension and hypertension.

  • vasodilator :

hawthorn improves coronary blood flow through a coronodilatory action. It induces better irrigation of the heart, and thus better cardiac resistance. It protects the heart from aging. It also improves cerebral blood circulation and acts on sleep to make it more restful.

  • sedative :

hawthorn has anxiolytic and sympathicolytic properties. Its bud macerate acts as a sedative for the nervous system when it can no longer go to sleep.

  • antisclerotic :

hawthorn bud macerate fights against hardening and degeneration of arterial walls. Its antisclerotic action is also visible on lung tissues. It is therefore preferred when the breathing difficulties are directly linked to the heart, when the synchronicity between the heart and the lungs is disrupted.
