Why these essential oils?

Fragrant Wintergreen will soothe your muscle pain

Methyl salicylate, a terpene ester, makes up 95 to 99% of thewintergreen essential oil ; like citronellal, it is negative. This negative nature of esters gives them powerful anti-inflammatory properties. Methyl salicylate is specialized for muscle and joint pain; its action comes from an inhibition of pro-inflammatory enzymes.

It is a very good percutaneous analgesic, thanks to the warming it causes on the skin, which will effectively calm back pain. Methyl salicylate (ester) combines with citronellal (aldehyde) of Lemon Eucalyptus to increase their ability to treat muscle pain and help those suffering from acute or chronic back pain.

The analgesic action of Scots Pine

Calming pain is the most sought-after property in the case of lower back pain. L'scots Pine essential oil has very different components from the other essential oils in this synergy and enriches the pool of analgesic molecules (which reduce pain) and analgesics (which inhibit pain) in this mixture of essential oils. It is highly recommended to relieve rheumatism, lumbago and sciatica.

Lemon Eucalyptus: the anti-rheumatic reference

It is citronellal, a monoterpene aldehyde, which provideslemon Eucalyptus essential oil the majority of its properties to treat low back pain. Citronellal is a powerful anti-rheumatic (fights joint pain), it is also anti-inflammatory. These two combined properties create a powerful painkiller that will effectively relieve painful sensations in the lumbar region.

Citronellal is negative, it has soothing properties through its action on certain neurotransmitters (molecules allowing the transfer of nervous information) which will relax the affected person and therefore relax their muscles and tendons. Rest of the joints (intervertebral discs) is therefore ensured so that the repair is rapid.

Lavandin Super to limit muscle contractions

These are notably calming, anxiolytic and sedative properties that thelavandin Super essential oil brings to this synergy. Indeed, monoterpene alcohols (linalool, terpinen-4-ol) as well as linalyl acetate, a monoterpene ester, are active on the nervous system and reduce excitability. They will come to the aid of citronellal from Lemon Eucalyptus to relax the affected person in order to let their joint recover from this trauma.

The linalool and camphor in this Lavandin Super essential oil are also analgesic and musculotropic spasmolytic (promote muscle relaxation). Relaxing the back muscles allows you to relax the corresponding tendons and therefore rest the surrounding joints.

Roman Chamomile relaxes the muscles

L'roman Chamomile essential oil owes its properties to the pool of monoterpene esters that compose it.

The anti-inflammatory action of esters is widely recognized, particularly that of isobutyl angelate (the majority monoterpene ester in this essential oil). It is the most spasmolytic ester; it promotes muscle relaxation and will therefore reduce painful tension in the lumbar muscle fibers. By disrupting ionic exchanges at the junctions between neurons in the nervous system, esters take charge of "pain" signals and thus provide a powerful analgesic effect to Roman Chamomile essential oil.

Calming and relaxing, this essential oil will promote relaxation and rest, essential for relieving back pain in pregnant women.

The analgesic action of Laurel Noble

Essential oil with multiple properties, noble Laurel essential oil has its place in this synergy. Even present in small quantities in Noble Laurel essential oil, eugenol is an excellent analgesic. This essential oil recommended for rheumatism or arthritis will greatly reduce back pain.

The analgesic action of eugenol will combine with that of the esters of Roman Chamomile essential oil to together have an even more effective "anti-pain" effect.

Why these vegetable oils?

St. John's Wort oily macerate to reduce inflammation

To accentuate and reinforce the beneficial effects of essential oils in this synergy, the oily macerate of St. John's wort is used thanks to its largely complementary properties. Its anti-inflammatory action will act at the heart of the painful area, to reduce inflammation of the lower back and pain at the same time. St. John's Wort thus reinforces the anti-rheumatic and anti-inflammatory effects of the essential oils of Lemon Eucalyptus and Odorous Wintergreen, but also the analgesic properties of the essential oils of Scots Pine and Lavandin Super.

Arnica oily macerate as an active support for essential oils

The frequency of back pain in pregnant women is high, it is therefore necessary to dilute essential oils to avoid overdose or to get used to their action. THE arnica oily macerate fulfills this role well in this synergy, by providing as a bonus its own active molecules to complement those of essential oils. Thus, the lactones which compose it reinforce the anti-inflammatory action of Lemon Eucalyptus, while its analgesic action complements that of Noble Laurel.
