Why these essential oils?

Roman Chamomile soothes spasms

L'roman Chamomile essential oil is the calming component of the mixture, making it particularly effective in cases of nervous asthma. It also has a relaxing action on the muscles (spasmolytic action), limiting their involuntary contraction. This then allows the smooth muscles of the bronchi to relax and to breathe more easily.

These interesting properties result from the specific composition of Roman Chamomile essential oil: it contains monoterpene esters in large quantities (up to 76% of its composition). Acting through neurotransmitters such as acetylcholine, these esters are recognized for their relaxing and spasmolytic properties.

Lemon Eucalyptus fights inflammation

Citronellal is a monoterpene aldehyde with remarkable anti-inflammatory and spasmolytic activity. Due to its high percentage of citronellal (65 to 82% of the total composition),lemon Eucalyptus essential oil is recognized for its general anti-inflammatory properties. It modulates the immune response and inhibits the enzymes involved in a chain of reactions responsible for inflammation (arachidonic acid metabolism), thus limiting the extent of the latter.

Lemon Eucalyptus essential oil is therefore highly recommended when we know that the origin of the asthma attack is inflammation of the bronchi. Like Roman chamomile, it is also present in the mixture for its ability to fight involuntary muscle spasms.

Red Myrtle thins mucus

L'red Myrtle essential oil provides the expectorant and mucolytic properties necessary for the mixture. It will in fact help to clear excess mucus and thus help to free the respiratory tract. This is due to its content of alpha pinene and 1,8-cineole, molecules known for their decongestant action. 1,8-cineole is also and above all a specific anti-inflammatory of the respiratory tree and seems to have a relaxing action on the tracheal muscle.

Red Myrtle essential oil will therefore have an essential action to stop the process of triggering an asthma attack.

Khella dilates the bronchi

L'khella essential oil has a powerful bronchodilating property due to its content of specific esters (isoamyl methylbutyrate and amyl isobutyrate).

It has its place in this synergy to combat the asthma attack since it will help to increase the diameter of the bronchi, and thus promote the clearance of the airways.

Why this vegetable oil?

Nigella vegetable oil

L’nigella vegetable oil has astonishing properties: the nigellone it contains makes it a bronchodilator oil, which complements the effect of Khella essential oil. Thus, Nigella relieves asthma attacks. In addition, this oil has immunostimulating properties, which allow you to avoid colds or other bronchitis, benign illnesses but which are more difficult for people with asthma! Nigella will thus increase the body's natural defenses.
