Knowing how to use and maintain your diffuser is important if you want it to last over time. This is why we advise you to read the instructions provided carefully before use. In general: it is necessary to clean your diffuser at least 1 to 2 times per month, as well as each time you change essential oils. Likewise, vegetable oils should be banned from diffusers! Being viscous, they could damage it and clog it. But as each broadcast technology has its particularities, it is important to adapt the interview to its broadcaster.

You must empty the tank then add 1 to 2 teaspoons of white vinegar or household alcohol. You will then need to turn on your diffuser for 10 to 15 minutes then empty the excess vinegar or alcohol.

Diffusers by gentle heat or by ventilation

Use

The simplest ones!

These technologies also work only with essential oils.
We recommend adding +/- 5 drops of essential oil for gentle heat diffusers and between 5 and 10 drops for ventilation diffusers.

The interview

A wipe of a cloth is enough to clean your diffuser.

Misters: a special technology that works with water

This is the only circumstance where water and essential oils go well together!

Use

Misting or ultrasound technology is the only one that works with water and essential oils.
The quantity of water to pour is indicated on the diffuser and depends on the size of the water tank.
Concerning the number of drops of essential oils to pour, we recommend between 5 and 10 drops.

The interview

You must empty the rest of the water and essential oils present in the tank, wipe the tablet as well as the bottom of the diffuser with a cloth and if necessary, soak the cloth in white vinegar then rinse with clean water .

To note

With this diffusion technology, the essential oils projected into the atmosphere fall back more quickly, weighed down by water. This water, present in the form of micro-droplets, can possibly leave traces. We therefore recommend not placing your mister on a piece of furniture made of fragile materials or protecting the furniture around your diffuser.
