Nebulizers emit noise linked to pump vibrations

A nebulizing diffuser is made up of a pump and the motor of the latter makes noise when it is in operation, because of the vibrations it causes. However, this slight noise is not disturbing during daily use, in a living room: you have to listen carefully to hear it!

In terms of noise pollution, nebulizers:

  • suitable for living rooms, dining room, kitchen, living rooms, open space;

  • are not suitable for a bedroom, a small office, a meditation room.

The misters emit a slight splash of water

A mister creates a mist composed of micro-droplets and essential oils. To create this mist, the pellet at the bottom of the diffuser will vibrate, making the water vibrate, which will therefore emit a light noise of lapped in the diffuser. This noise remains discreet and does not disturb the people present in a room, with the exception of places where complete silence is necessary.

In terms of noise pollution, foggers:

  • suitable for any other situation;

  • are not suitable for a bedroom.

Ventilation diffusers are very quiet

Ventilation diffusers can emit a very light noise, because of the fan. However, you have to get within a few centimeters of the diffuser to perceive it.  

In terms of noise pollution, fans:

  • suitable for any situation;

  • are not suitable for an insomniac in his bedroom.

The gentle heat diffusers make absolutely no noise!

Finally, gentle heat diffusers are the quietest, all technologies combined, since they operate with an electrical resistance which emits absolutely no noise during operation.

In terms of noise pollution, gentle heat diffusers… plead not guilty.

Ultrasonic dry diffusion makes very little noise

Ultrasonic dry diffusion diffusers can emit a very light noise, due to the vibration of the small metal plate. However, you have to get within a few centimeters of the diffuser to perceive it.  

In terms of noise pollution, fans:

  • suitable for any situation;

  • are not suitable for an insomniac in his bedroom.
