The beautiful smells and impressive properties of essential oils make them great candidates for enhancing our baths and showers. But unfortunately, these are insoluble in water, and it is therefore not recommended to use them alone, without solvent. The two simplest ways to use them are to mix them with bath salt (such as Dead Sea salt), or to dilute them in a shower gel or shampoo before using them.

Enhance your shower gel with essential oils

Your shower gels and shampoo will mix well with essential oils, thanks to the surfactants they contain. Be careful, however, to use good quality products, with the most natural bases possible. Also pay attention to the dosage: if you use too many essential oils, you risk putting your shower gel-shampoo out of phase. Essential oils are powerful, a few drops are enough for a whole bottle!
