Why these essential oils?

Matricaria Chamomile for its anti-inflammatory action

If you have to choose an essential oil to treat allergic skin reactions, this is it.chamomile essential oil ! Composed of two molecules known for their antihistamine activity: chamaluzene and alpha bisabolol, this essential oil provides very powerful antiallergic properties. These two molecules will act by inhibiting the synthesis of leukotrienes (molecules released during allergic inflammation) and by stopping the release of histamine, a molecule of the immune system, responsible for the inflammatory pain felt during the allergic reaction.

These two mechanisms of chamaluzene and alpha bisabolol are also linked to the anti-inflammatory action of Camomile Chamomile essential oil. The red patches and small pimples that appear will thus resolve.

Real Lavender to calm redness and itching

L'true Lavender essential oil will help, initially, to calm the redness and itching caused by the allergic reaction. It is linalool which will provide this antipruritic action. Linalool intervenes via opioid receptors (located in the brain) responsible for transmitting “pain” information through sensory fibers. It is by inhibiting this transmission that it will produce the expected skin analgesic action, and taken advantage of in these cases of irritation and itching.

Secondly, the linalool present in this essential oil will reinforce the anti-inflammatory action of Camomile Chamomile essential oil, by acting on the inhibition of type II prostaglandins (molecules produced during inflammation) .

Why this vegetable oil?

Calendula oily macerate

THE calendula oily macerate is one of the most used to treat sensitive, irritated or inflamed skin and mucous membranes. It strengthens the natural protection of the epidermis, regenerates tissues and prevents skin drying. Its faradiol composition gives it its anti-inflammatory properties necessary for relieving pruritus and hives, for example. It is therefore the ideal vegetable oil to say goodbye to all your rheumatic inflammations and itching.
